Awana at FBC Lowell

Awana is a Bible-based ministry that helps children learn God’s Word, build a strong foundation of faith, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. Through Scripture memorization, Bible lessons, games, and caring relationships, children are encouraged to know God personally and grow in their relationship with Him.

At FBC Lowell, Awana meets Wednesday evenings from 6:15–8:00 p.m. during the school year. We follow the Lowell, Michigan, Public Schools calendar for school breaks and weather-related cancellations.

Our three clubs—Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T—are designed for different ages and stages of childhood. Each club helps children understand that God is real, that He loves each of them personally, and that He desires a relationship with them.

What Does an Awana Evening Look Like?

Each evening is divided into three rotations, giving children a variety of ways to learn, grow, and have fun!

• Game Time – Children enjoy active games that encourage healthy competition, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and plenty of fun!

• Large Group Time – Clubbers gather for engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching that helps them understand who God is and what His Word says.

• Small Group Time – Children meet in smaller groups to work through Scripture verses, understand their meaning, and discover how to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives.
