At FBC, we intentionally begin our worship service together as families because we value intergenerational worship and the opportunities it provides for parents to help their children grow in faith. Sharing these moments allows parents to teach their children about meaningful parts of our faith, such as communion and baptism, and to model what it looks like to worship together.

We also recognize the value of age-appropriate Bible teaching! Children are always welcome to remain in the worship service, but families also have the option for children in K–3rd grade to attend Children’s Church, where they are dismissed before the sermon for a lesson designed especially for them. For Kids staying the entire service, children’s sermon notes are available at the Connect Desk to help them follow along with the message.

At 11:00 a.m., our educational hour begins, and K–5th graders join their friends and teachers for a time of Bible teaching, music, and crafts. Whether your children worship alongside you throughout the service or participate in Children’s Church, we’re glad your family is here!
