During the COVID-19 pandemic, FBC will gather for outdoor worship services on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. We believe it is important to gather for corporate worship. While we have streamed our services during this pandemic, digital recordings cannot replace gathering in person with other believers. We believe that meeting outdoors will provide the safest way for our church to gather at this time. You can either drive in and listen from your car or bring a lawn chair. All outdoor services are weather permitting, and we will not be providing indoor services at this time. Any cancellations will be communicated on our website. We hope you will join us!
We will gather in accordance with the health guidelines of the State of Michigan and the CDC. We believe that meeting together outdoors is the best way to keep our people safe and respect the guidelines given by our state. Meeting outside drastically decreases the likelihood of spreading and contracting COVID-19.
The lyrics for the songs are provided through the link at the top of this page. Feel free to either print out these lyrics before coming or pull up the lyrics on your phone during the service in order to participate in singing together.
You can access the sermon notes for this week's sermon by following this link.
- If you feel comfortable bringing a lawn chair, please park in the parking lot. If walking from the parking lot to the field is too difficult, please feel free to drive around the barn, and people will be there to park you. Feel free to sit in a lawn chair infron to your vehicle.
- There is not much shade, and while it still may be cooler at 9:30am, you may consider bringing an umbrella for shade. Sunscreen and bug spray may not be a bad idea either.
- Though we encourage online giving, there will be an opportunity for you to give at the end of the service. There will be a bucket for offering at a few different spots, and there will be someone holding a bucket for those that parked in the field.
- We will be trying to keep our service to under an hour.
