Dear Friend,
We are glad to be part of providing this nourishment from Angel Food to you. We all need food to sustain our physical lives. To have such good quality food at such an affordable price is a real plus for all of us. We hope that you will enjoy these good meals and come back each month for more nutritious food.
As important as this food is for our physical lives, we all have an even more important need. We all have an inner spiritual hunger that needs to be satisfied as well. Whereas physical hunger causes our stomachs to grumble and growl, spiritual hunger causes our lives to lack peace and contentment. Jesus Christ came to this earth from heaven so that we might have that spiritual hunger satisfied. He once said of himself, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35) Jesus was speaking of our spiritual hunger and thirst, of course, and his ability to meet all of our deepest needs.

If You Eat You Qualify
This is a hand-up for everyone, regardless of financial status, residency, or membership. This is fresh, high quality food, not a surplus food give-away. Each month a new menu of items valued at $60 and sold for $30 is published at www.angelfoodministries.com along with special items that may also be purchased.
How to Order!
NEW! You can now order on-line any time of day or night! It's easy. Go to www.AngelFoodMinistries.com and click on "Order Online." Enter our zip code, "49331." Beside "First Baptist Church," click, "Order Online" and follow the simple steps to enter the quantities of the items you want, enter your payment information, and submit. You will see a receipt that you should print and bring with you on delivery day. You will also receive an email confirmation of your order.
You can order any time after the next month's menu appears on the AngelFoodMinistries.com website until midnight of the Sunday that orders are taken at church - which is the 2nd full weekend of each month.
You may also still place an order in the traditional way - you simply need to come to the church, at 2275 W. Main, Lowell, on pre-arranged ordering days each month - currently the 2nd full weekend of each month. The ordering days are on the second week-end of each month – Friday between 4:00PM and 6:00PM and Saturday between 10:30AM and Noon. Payment may be made in cash or Food Stamps. Blessings By The Box
We are excited to announce a new initiative and change that we believe can help more people through Angel Food's resources. Recently, Angel Food leadership made a crucial adjustment: We now can purchase any item, special boxes and Signature boxes alike, with no limits or pre-buy requirements!
Simply put, you no longer need to buy a Signature Box, Allergen Free or Senior Meal box to qualify for the produce, Grill and Meat boxes, or whatever else the specials may be.
Effective NOW, the website ordering system and AngelNET have been enabled to recognize these changes and accept ALL orders.
It is Angel Food's hope that those who may have wanted some of the offerings without the purchase of the regular box, or those who may find it easier to afford the special boxes over the regular ones, can access the benefits that Angel Food Ministries has provided for so many. Thank You!
Each monthly menu gives a choice of a “Regular Box”, a “Senior/Convenience Box”, and an “Allergen-free Box”. With careful meal planning, the food in the Regular box can form the base for a month’s worth of meals. At http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/angelfood/ there are meal plans to help achieve this. The Senior/Convenience Box is prepared meals, great for people on the go. The food is all the same high quality one would purchase at a grocery store. There are no government surplus commodities, no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads, and no produce that is almost too ripe.
You can also purchase specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken, pork, and fresh fruit or vegetables. There is no limit to the number of regular units or specials an individual can purchase. There are no applications to complete or qualifications to which participants must adhere.
Please bring YOUR OWN Box to pick up your order at distribution day.
How The Program Works
Food orders and distribution are handled by churches, ministries or other community service organizations that serve as "Host Sites." Orders and payments are collected by the Host Sites during the first part of each month. These orders are then turned into the Angel Food main office in Monroe, Georgia on a predetermined date. Several days later in the same month, the food is delivered to the Hose Sites from Angel Food’s 160,000 square foot warehouse to fill the orders on Distribution Day, the last Saturday of each month. Occasionally, the schedule is adjusted because of holidays.
