 ABFs - Adult Bible Fellowships

Group and Class Ministries linking people at all age levels and encouraging growth in faith, in knowledge and in caring for each other in our ever-changing world.

Your interest in growing in your faith life is a blessing! One of the most effective ways of linking your life to Truth is in a smaller group setting of interaction and discussion.

Some of the ways we have referred to such opportunities include Sunday School, or ABFs (Adult Bible Fellowships) or Youth Group, or Bible Study, or other familiar terms. All of these and more fit into what makes up a Growth Group. It could be a formal meeting or an informal gathering. It could be primarily a teaching/study session or it could include a mission or service project together.

We want to encourage all who attend FBC to become part of a growth group… because it’s where lasting growth takes place. It’s also a great way to break down a larger body of people into smaller, more familiar and personal groups.

We would love to have you find a growth group for yourself and your children. If you need more information, don’t fail to ask at the Welcome Desk, call the church, or seek out a Pastor for help.

  SPECIAL..starting Augutst 1 for 7 weeks: “Beyond the Valley.”  Study written by Dave Branon about his experiences in losing his 16-year-old daughter in a car accident a few years ago.  Coordinated by  Eileen Beach ...  We will be attempting to find hope in the midst of life's losses.  While the main theme deals with the death of Dave's teenage daughter,  there are other losses we may walk through, as God's children.  We will talk about some of these and attempt to find hope and comfort and perhaps find His purpose in allowing these experiences to come into our lives.    Various adults to teach different subjects.   (August 8...an "unusual valley" with Terre Ritchie.)

 Prime Time- 2nd Thursday Mornings of the Month

 Prime Time Ministries to Adults 60+ is a blessing! Throughout the story of God’s redemption, senior men and women of faith have been blessings by participating in significant acts and events of faith. Through their example, experience, courage, prayer, and service many advances of God’s Kingdom have occurred. In many, many instances, the latter years have become prime years of involvement by the saints in the cause and purposes of God.

Noah was a Prime Timer by the time of the saga of the great flood; Abraham and Sarah were in their Prime years when the Promise became reality; Moses began his main ministry around age 80; Caleb was an energized senior when he declared, “Give me this mountain!” in the Promised Land; Daniel lived decades of faithfulness in a foreign land and in his 80s survived an overnighter with hungry lions in Babylon; both Simeon and Anna served God continuously through their advancing years; and the last book of the Bible was penned as John the Apostle when he was likely near the age of 90!

What a blessing these and many more are in our heritage of faith. May your partnership with us bring a growing joy and fresh blessing to you and those you touch in Christ’s Name.

What is PRIME TIME About?   It’s about...

FELLOWSHIP
Spiritual health includes occasions to relate...to share...to enjoy one another’s presence… This includes luncheons, programs, outings, and more!

SPIRITUAL GROWTH
So many means are available to encourage each other to life-long learning in the Lord. This can be a Bible study, a week-day hour… for prayer, singing ...and more!

EVANGELISM
All around us are others in similar places on life’s path. Reaching such people is a natural fit and exciting opportunity, and creating an atmosphere to which others can be invited is a joy.

CARING
The need for compassionate care is always present, and ways of touching people with the love of Christ is invaluable...this could be assisted living homes, shut-ins and more!

SERVICE
Time and availability can be turned into spiritual treasure as we model Christ’s servant’s heart, moving beyond ourselves to help….this could be volunteer projects in Christian organizations and in agencies, schools ...mentoring ...and more!

Riders Redeemed - "Double ‘R’ Riders” motorcyclist group sharing comradeship, building friendships and enjoying fellowship

Riders Redeemed is a community of people w.ho share a common interest in motorcycles. We ride together, and for those interested, we offer an opportunity to develop closer friendships and to develop spiritually in a fun, relaxed social setting. 


Throughout the Bible one can find God hitching up all sorts of rides and vehicles for His purposes: donkeys, camels, oxen, horses and chariots are all tools God enjoyed operating. Our “chariots” are of the two-wheeled, motorized type that we enjoy riding and using for great fun and increasing our faith and fellowship together.

We always pray for safety in this cycle “corps”, and, if you ride, consider joining in on periodic activities and excursions this riding season.
