Kaleo is a Greek term for "called". We want to see ourselves as a group who realize that we are called by God to be and do many things. If we accept Christ, we are called "Christians". We are called by God to "love one another" and to "love our neighbors". The Greek word for church is Ekklesia which means "called out ones".

Current Study Topic Answers to Questions I Had About the Bible and Always Wanted to Ask (February 8, 2009 to Present)
Description
Have you ever had a question about the Bible and always wanted to ask? Perhaps you have asked and haven't received a satisfactory answer. Or, if your like me, the question was a tangent to the current discussion and you didn't want to create a huge distraction. Maybe you're embarrassed because you think you should already know the answer. Well, here's your opportunity. Go ahead, shoot.
We're starting new series on how to study the Bible to find answers to these questions. We will quest to be like the Bereans in Acts 17:11 who …”were of noble character … for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” We will answer questions, as posed from class members, and journey together to answer them through searching the scriptures.

About Us (go to our class blog) http://kaleofbc.blogspot.com/
We are an Adult Bible Fellowship actively engaged in discovering God's truths for our lives.
What is Kaleo? Kaleo is a Greek term for "called". We want to see ourselves as a group who realize that we are called by God to be and do many things. If we accept Christ, we are called "Christians". We are called by God to "love one another" and to "love our neighbors". The Greek word for church is Ekklesia which means "called out ones".
Who is Kaleo? Our group used to be called the "Young Married Couples". The new Kaleo ABF is open to anyone who wants to join us. Most of us will be married and at least think of ourselves as rather "Young". But what we really want is to become better acquainted and encourage each other to follow Christ. Come join us!
