OUR WALK.... Interacting with God's People...

Life is busy and often hectic, tending to pull at the limited time we have.   One of our Core Values is ONE ANOTHER...and all of  our ministry teams seek to collaborate to help nurture authentic COMMUNITY.

Some of our Teams and ministries serve to focus on fostering Body Life and interconnectedness, providing both doorways to merge into deeper relationships together, as well as opportunities to use your skill-sets and gift-strengths to be part of growing REAL sharing and caring and doing life together.  Some of the key areas that God uses to "glue" us include:

ABFs/Small Groups    -    Membership Team    -    Maturity Team    -    Mercy Team    -    Magnification Team

Find real sharing and connecting in a smaller Growth group where you get to know more than just names or faces...but people, friends, "family."  We not only have age-graded groups from preschool through high school, but then a number of ABFs that provide a place for anyone to plug-in.   These groups are strategic to the life and growth of FBC...and their "TACCO" plan includes God's mission for all of us.  Click below to download the ABF Brochure.

Why Small Groups?

1. Small groups are a great means for using BIBLICAL TEACHING for life-change.
2. Small groups create the best environment for AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY.
3. Small groups increase CLEAR COMMITMENT to our priorities.
4. Small groups allow for all participating in our  STRATEGIC MISSION as a vehicle for creatively serving and inviting outsiders.
5. Small groups allow us to maximize INTENTIONAL STEWARDSHIP by removing resource barriers to growth.
6. Small groups assist in developing HEALTHY MEMBERS and FAMILIES with accountability and connection.

Why Live in Community?

God designed people for community. Each of us has a desire “to belong” somewhere. Seeking community is often what brings many of us to FBC. It will be the relationships that we build that keep us coming back to this faith family.

At FBC, we understand that worship celebration on  Sunday and other occasions is uplifting, a time to celebrate God, and a very important part of our spiritual growth but it alone will not bring about life transformation.

It is in Close Community where life transformation occurs. Even Jesus did not do it alone…He created community by gathering the 12 disciples.
